Designed to protect the rear suspension linkage from direct impacts caused by rocks, stones, logs and hard ground during Adventure, Enduro and Off-Road riding.
Located underneath the motorcycle, the suspension linkage is highly exposed to impacts and scraping when crossing rocks and other trail obstacles. The 5 mm PE plastic construction creates a durable and low-friction protective surface underneath the linkage, helping reduce the risk of impact and abrasion damage.
This link guard is designed to work with 5 different Motoes bash plate versions developed for different Yamaha Tenere 700 generations and chassis configurations.
When installed on the compatible Motoes bash plate, it extends the protection area from underneath the engine toward the rear suspension linkage.

Installation Information
• Designed to be used only with the compatible Motoes bash plates listed in the Fitment section.
• Clean the bash plate and mounting points before installation.
• Secure the link guard to the dedicated mounting points on the compatible bash plate.
• After installation, check that the guard does not restrict rear suspension movement.
• Make sure there is no unwanted contact with the exhaust, frame or other moving components.
• Recheck all mounting points after the first off-road ride.

Important Note
This product is not a standalone bash plate.
It must be used together with one of the compatible Motoes bash plates listed in the Fitment section.
Before ordering, make sure the motorcycle model, production year and Motoes bash plate SKU match the information listed above.
Standard Tenere 700, World Raid, Euro 4 and Euro 5 bash plates use different body and mounting geometries. Compatibility must therefore be checked using both the motorcycle model year and the bash plate SKU.
Maintenance / Cleaning
• Remove mud, stones and debris collected around the link guard after off-road riding.
• Regularly inspect the area between the linkage and the guard.
• Check the mounting points after intensive off-road use and washing.
• Inspect the guard for deformation, cracks or excessive wear after hard impacts.
• Remove any debris that could interfere with rear suspension movement.
• Check and retighten loose mounting points before continuing to ride.
• Do not use strong or abrasive chemicals.

This product is developed and manufactured by Motoes specifically for the rear suspension linkage geometry of the Yamaha Tenere 700, Tenere 700 World Raid and XTZ690, as well as the mounting geometry of different-generation Motoes bash plates.
The design focuses on protecting the suspension linkage from impacts, maintaining correct compatibility with different Motoes bash plate versions, preserving suspension movement and providing reliable protection in demanding Adventure and Off-Road conditions.
