Speed Sensor Magnet Kit
Replace a missing, damaged or worn speedometer magnet with this Speed Sensor Magnet Kit.
The magnet mounts to the compatible front brake rotor and works with the motorcycle's existing wheel speed sensor to generate the signal used by the speedometer and odometer.
A strong rare-earth magnet provides reliable sensor activation, while the included stainless steel retaining clip helps keep the magnet securely positioned during demanding enduro and off-road riding.
The kit is also useful when installing a second or spare wheel set that requires its own speed sensor magnet.

How Does the Speed Sensor Magnet Work?
The wheel speed sensor detects the magnet each time the wheel rotates.
This signal allows the motorcycle's instrument system to calculate:
Vehicle speed
Distance travelled
Odometer reading
Trip distance
If the magnet is missing or damaged, the speedometer may stop displaying correct speed and distance information.
