Installation Notes
Before installation:
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface using a suitable cleaner or solvent.
- Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and free from oil or contamination.
- Apply LOCTITE 272 anaerobic threadlocker to the mounting bolts.
- After installation, allow approximately 24 hours for the threadlocker to fully cure before operating the motorcycle.
Correct installation is important because the component operates at high rotational speed.
Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with flywheel or ignition-system servicing.
