How It Works
In a 2-stroke engine, at higher rpm, pressure waves in the exhaust system help force extra fresh mixture into the cylinder — the effect riders describe as being “on the pipe.” While this supercharging boosts top-end power, the same pressure waves actually make it harder for the engine to breathe efficiently at lower rpm, resulting in weaker bottom-end performance.
The Powervalve Cover creates an additional chamber (Torque Chamber) that helps dissipate these pressure waves at lower rpm. This reduction in wave strength allows the cylinder to fill more effectively with fresh charge, boosting torque and improving throttle response in the lower-to-mid range.
Through extensive testing and refinement, we developed a design that provides a clear and measurable increase in low-to-mid torque, making the bike more responsive where riders need it most.
